Cabinets To Go Teams Up with Best Buddies Jobs Program to Support Employment for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)

Best Buddies & Cabinets To Go

All throughout August, Cabinets To Go will be donating 2% of each sale upon customer request (up to $100k) to Best Buddies. We spoke with CEO and President Jeff Linden to learn a little more about what drives the monthly charitable giving campaigns at Cabinets To Go.

BB: Why is it important for Cabinets To Go to partner with a nonprofit every month? How did you guys start getting involved and trying to make a difference in the global community?

CTG: With over 42 locations in 26 states across the US, we are very involved in the towns and communities where our stores are located and pride ourselves on driving not only economic growth but creating new job opportunities in these areas.

BB: What made Cabinets To Go choose Best Buddies as a nonprofit partner?

CTG: Finding your place in society is essential to everyday life. Whether at your workplace, school or home, the feeling of inclusion — amongst both family and strangers — is something that can make you feel confident and secure. For Cabinets To Go, working with a nonprofit like Best Buddies, who embodies the spirit of this important goal, is the ultimate honor.

We admire the employment opportunities that Best Buddies creates for those with IDD. It’s something that we hold very near and dear to our hearts. Cabinets To Go is a company full of people who genuinely appreciate their jobs and love going to work every single day.  Our team is creative, diverse and works together to provide not only a superior product but also superior service to benefit our customers, business partners and communities. Being denied the ability to work is something that won’t stand. The individuals who make up the Best Buddies Jobs program can take pride in their work and know that they are making a difference in society.

BB: Tell us about the employment opportunities available for individuals with IDD at Cabinets to Go.

CTG: We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. Women, minorities, and individuals with disabilities, including “disabled Veterans” or Veterans with service-connected disabilities, are encouraged to apply for positions at Cabinets To Go. We love the feeling of creating a new kitchen or bathroom for a customer and giving them the sense of being comfortable. With our donations throughout August, we aim to do the same for the program participants and volunteers that make up the Best Buddies organization. Visit for more information!
