Grace Hamilton, Chapter President for Bishop Ireton High School Best Buddies

It has been an incredible 2 days for Bishop Ireton High School Best Buddies! They have registered 18 people for the Audi Best Buddies Challenge: Washington, D.C. Student Fun Run. THEY ARE ON FIRE!! Read this interview from BI’s Chapter President Grace Hamilton on why she is taking the Challenge.

What inspired you to take the Challenge?

I have seen the amazing impact Best Buddies has on people, and I want to continue to help the message reach more and more people.

Why is Best Buddies important in your life?

It reminds me to be inclusive and to see people for their abilities.

What does friendship mean to you?

Love, respect, and acceptance.

When was the last time you tried something new or challenged yourself?

Last week, I had macaroni pizza for the first time. It was amazing!

If you could choose your personal theme song for the Challenge, what would it be?

Carried Away by Passion Pit

If you could tell someone one thing about the Challenge that would get them to sign-up, what would it be?

I can’t imagine not having Best Buddies at my school. Help us continue to open more chapters, so everyone can enjoy Best Buddies.

Any fundraising ideas or tips to share?

Talk to people in person, because its easier to form a connection, and it will be harder for them to say no.

Support Grace Hamilton by making a donation to the Bishop Ireton Best Buddies Team!
