Bloomington, Ind(July 16, 2014)  Summer vacation will hold a special meaning for over 2,000 student leaders, volunteers, and staff from Best Buddies International’s programs around the world, who will participate in the 25th Annual Best Buddies Leadership Conference  presented by C.A. HartnellJuly 25-28 at Indiana University in Bloomington.

Best Buddies is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

This year’s conference will prepare the organization’s students leaders to be strong, passionate forerunners on the Journey to Innovation, challenging communities and inspiring the world one person at a time. Read More…

WASHINGTON, Oct. 20, 2013 – Close to 1,500 people took part in the Audi Best Buddies Challenge: Washington, D.C. – a charity walk, run and ride chaired by Scott Keogh, President of Audi of America, on Saturday, October 19. The Challenge raised $2.5 million in total donations for Best Buddies International, a nonprofit dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Media, Media, Media! All For Best Buddies


Our communications team has been working hard to ensure that the Best Buddies mission is being seen and heard — from stories in newspapers and magazines, to features on news stations around the country.

We’ve generated publicity from various events hosted this year, including the Palm Beach Gala, the Audi Best Buddies Challenge: Hyannis Port, and the 22nd Annual Best Buddies International Leadership Conference at Indiana University. The team has also produced public service announcements (PSAs) with Miami Heat superstar, Chris Bosh and the NBA draft’s number one pick, Kyrie Irving, who was chosen to play for the Cleveland Caveliers.
