Friendship Updates Mobile Contest To Launch November 1

In August of 2013, Best Buddies International launched the Friendship Updates mobile web application (app). This app allows matched buddy pairs to easily submit Friendship Updates using a mobile device of their choice.  These Friendship Updates are a great way to share amazing experiences in Best Buddies, and provides our organization with valuable feedback that allows us to improve our programs.

To celebrate the launch of the Friendship Updates app, and kick off another year of friendship, we are very excited to announce the 2013 Friendship Updates Mobile Contest!

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

  • For the month of November, buddy pairs submit Friendship Updates using the mobile web app at www.bestbuddiesonline.org/m/!
  • The buddy pair who submits the most mobile updates during the month of November will win!*

WHAT THE CONTEST WINNER WILL RECEIVE:

  • An all-expenses-paid trip to Miami, FL to attend the Best Buddies Staff Leadership Conference (BBSLC) in January 2014
  • An opportunity to meet Anthony Kennedy Shriver, Founder and Chairman of Best Buddies International.
  • A guided tour of the Best Buddies Global Headquarters office in Downtown Miami.
  • An opportunity to share your friendship story with Best Buddies staff from all over the world.

Good luck to all of our buddy pairs during the month of November! Can’t wait to hear about all of your awesome Best Buddies friendship moments.

* Must be matched in a one-to-one friendship in a Best Buddies school friendship program (Best Buddies Middle Schools, Best Buddies High Schools, and Best Buddies Colleges.) Best Buddies reserves the right to disqualify invalid entries. All Friendship Updates must be submitted by November 30, 2013 at 11:59 EST to be eligible.
